The successful tutoring brand extends its presence throughout California focusing on southern growth.

The Best in Class Education franchise is in the midst of another strong year in terms of franchise growth. The brand has added 12 franchises with seven new franchisees joining the system and five existing franchisees expanding their territories and tutoring fleets. In an interview with 1851 Franchise Magazine, Sharon Peterson the brand’s VP of Franchise Recruitment and Development, explained, “We are extremely happy with how the brand has been growing over the past few months and we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Best in Class Education has a long history within The Golden State.  California is the brand’s second largest state presence, a runner up to Washington, where Best in Class is headquartered. In fact, much of the recent success has taken place within California with openings in both northern and Southern California. Best in Class recently had expansions within the Sacramento and the Bay Area along with signings in the Southern portion of the state.

Olga Jolly recently signed to become a Best in Class franchisee to the east of Los Angeles. She is currently staking out real estate in the Anaheim Hills and Chino Hills areas.

The culture and core values of the brand stem all the way back to its founding. The backbone of the brand emphasizes the importance of education that everyone deserves, which was originally put in place by Best in Class founder and CEO Hao Lam.

“I didn’t get the education I deserved when I was little, so I’m passionate about it now,” explained Lam when speaking about what the brand was founded on. “We are responsible for our next generation and teaching them to be better people.” Lam grew up in Vietnam, and is now leading the 50-unit brand.  

Lam, being an immigrant, really empathizes with people who come from similar backgrounds.
